Sam is much in demand in the studio, working with artists such as Simply Red, Echo and The Bunnymen, Duffy, Chrissie Hynde, Simple Minds and Nell Bryden. He played piano and was also the voice (singing) of George Harrison in the Sam Taylor Wood directed John Lennon biopic, Nowhere Boy. He is the band leader for Miel de Botton and, having recorded keys on her most recent studio album, also plays live with Swiss no.1 artist Natacha.
In November 2018 he performed his arrangement of Killing Moon with Echo and The Bunnymen on Later With Jools Holland.
